Returns and exchanges
We have made every effort to inform you as accurately as possible about our products. If a product is nevertheless unsatisfactory, it may be returned or exchanged.
If you like to return or exchange an online bought article, please inform us by email – email@example.com – within 14 days of receiving the product(s) you wish to return or exchange. Don’t forget to state the reason for your return. The products must be returned in their original condition, undamaged and in the original packaging. You are responsible for the shipping costs; postage must have been paid. If not, we will not accept the return. If returning a purchase through PostNL, you must acquire a shipping receipt from the post-office you are sending it from. This is proof for Household Hardware that you have actually sent the package. Household Hardware reserves the right to refuse to handle, or compensate lost returns without a receipt. Otherwise once we receive your package in the original state we will promptly process an exchange, or issue a refund. The amount paid will be refunded within 30 days.
Articles which have been personally chosen in our warehouse/showroom can not be refunded but always exchanged.
Our products are unique pieces, mostly handicrafts and handmade. Therefore they can differ from each other. Small irregularities, differeces in color and shape unevenness are part of the product’s charm and a sign of traditional craftsmanship. They cannot be considered as a product fault.
We have made every effort to display our products as accurately as possible. However, as computer monitors vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any color will accurately reflect the color of the product on delivery.
Reduced articles cannot be returned or exchanged.
